International Trade Advisors is a Sydney-based boutique consultancy serving multinationals and SMEs in the Australian defence industry since 2011.

Our service offerings include assistance with understanding the regulatory requirements under U.S. ITAR, EAR and Australian export controls. We offer tailored advice and training to Australian companies and Australian subsidiaries of multinationals.



We have assisted prime defence contractors, SMEs and the Commonwealth with creating cost-effective processes, procedures and staff training that are tailored to their business needs. Our focus is on helping Australian entities understand export controls by providing assistance related to addressing compliance issues as well as guidance in relation to managing an effective Export Compliance Management Program (ECMP).

On an annual basis, we host a two-day training for Export Compliance Officers, Project Managers and Engineers where these professionals can obtain updated training on the ITAR, EAR and AU export controls as well as network with others in the industry. Our conferences and trainings are focused on helping Australian industry and Commonwealth staff manage U.S. export controlled technology in Australia.
